Serious about
terrible ideas.
Independent thinking. Questionable conclusions.
Apparently nobody is using it.
Bad Business Advice is a satirical business publication covering the gap between what sounds impressive in a meeting and what would actually be sensible to do.
We write about corporate nonsense, businesses with no reason to exist, side hustles that should remain hobbies, marketing that requires an apology, and founders whose confidence has escaped supervision.
All the authority. None of the sense.
Our editorial approach is simple: take a terrible idea seriously enough to expose exactly how terrible it is. We favour the unnecessary dashboard, the meeting with a pre-meeting, and the startup whose main product is its pitch deck.
The tone is dry. The conclusions are unreliable. The spelling is British.
A brief moment of clarity
This is satire. The articles are fictional editorial commentary, not reporting, investment recommendations or professional advice. Any business concepts described are presented for comic effect. Please exercise better judgement than our editorial board.
The Editorial Board
Our house byline. A suitably grand title for the people responsible for all of this. No fictional qualifications, invented awards or imaginary readership figures. We draw the line at those. The line is in a dashboard.
